Cookies Policy – Next Goal USA
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Next Goal USA uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your session secure and ensure the proper functioning of our platform. By using our website, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function efficiently and allow us to keep you signed in. Cookies cannot identify you personally unless you choose to provide personal information.
Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential Cookies: Necessary for the website to function properly. They enable features such as navigation, secure access, authentication, and form submissions.
- Functional Cookies: Functional cookies store preferences such as your selected language to enhance your experience on future visits.
- We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If we introduce them in the future, this policy will be updated and, where required by law, your consent will be requested.
Third-Party Cookies
Our platform itself does not set third-party advertising cookies. When an athlete embeds a highlight video from YouTube on their profile, YouTube may set its own cookies on that page; those cookies are governed by YouTube's privacy and cookie policies. If we add other third-party services in the future (for example, payment processing or analytics), this policy will be updated accordingly.
Cookies We Use
The table below lists the cookies the platform itself sets today. Additional cookies may be set by embedded YouTube videos on athlete profiles.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-*-auth-token | Keeps you signed in to your account. | Up to 1 year (refreshed on activity) | Next Goal USA (essential) |
| i18nextLng | Remembers your selected language (EN / ES / RS). | Persistent (until cleared) | Next Goal USA (functional) |
How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. If we add a consent banner in the future, you will be able to change your preferences from there. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.
Updates to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect legal changes or improvements to our services. The updated version will always be available on this page.
